Voice for Android TV & Google TV

Which TVs are supported?＋

Kayan Remote supports Android TV and Google TV, compatible LG webOS TVs and compatible Samsung Smart TVs. Controls vary by model, operating system, configuration and the TV app you use.

Do my phone and TV need the same Wi-Fi?＋

Yes. Your phone and TV need to be on the same local network. Guest Wi-Fi, VPNs and router isolation can stop them from seeing each other.

Why might my TV not appear?＋

Local discovery can be blocked by network settings or the TV may be asleep. Make sure the TV is on the same Wi-Fi, then try again or use manual connection with its network address.

Does keyboard input work in every app?＋

No. Keyboard input depends on whether the TV and the app you are controlling accept it. Kayan Remote shows the keyboard controls where they are supported.

Which TVs support voice?＋

Voice control is available for compatible Android TV and Google TV devices. It is not currently offered for LG or Samsung TVs.

Does Kayan Remote include IPTV content?＋

No. Kayan Remote is a local-network TV remote. It does not provide channels, playlists, IPTV subscriptions or media content.
